Singing Teacher
Due to our current resident singing tutors becoming booked up we are looking to establish a shift for a new piano tutor.
Flexible shifts are available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Although part-time, additional teaching days may become available at a later date if requested.
Job Description
-
Self employed role, teaching one to one lessons for 30, 45 or 60 minute durations

Supporting and developing students with effective teaching methods, good communication, structure and motivation.

Preparing students for exams, performances and auditions if needed

Communicating with students/parents about lessons and progress

Keeping up to date with modern methods and techniques

Keeping record of student attendance and payments.

Role Requirements

Reliability and excellent time keeping.

A good level of practical ability and knowledge of theory

DBS check, the school can provide one for you if you cannot.

No formal qualifications are needed though experience teaching is preferable, however training can be provided if needed.

Hourly rates start at £15.50 per hour for experienced teachers. Applicants with no previous teaching experience may begin at a lower rate for the duration of a short training period.
